Chiropractic care remains an essential service in Victoria during the July 2020 coronavirus lockdown. In light of Victoria’s unfortunate circumstances and being forced into another lockdown for 6 weeks, we want to reassure our patients that our chiropractic clinics are providing an essential service as confirmed by the Victorian Department of Health.
Appropriate health measures have been introduced into our reception areas and treatment rooms of the clinics to maintain the safety and wellbeing of our patients and practitioners. All equipment is being sanitised between patients as the front door handles and other surfaces you might touch.
We ask all who may be unwell, even with mild cold symptoms, to not visit the clinics and reschedule their appointments. Our reminder emails and SMS links have a cancellation link for this purpose. We cannot socially distance from patients while treating them, so we fully respect each patient’s right to choose if they wish to attend or not. We are advising some senior patients that it is not in their better interest to go out and attend health care appointments. This has to be balanced against the level of pain or symptoms they have.
